Standard Response Time for SOAP APIs

Hi,

I was wondering if we have any published performance benchmark defined for RightNow SOAP service APIs. We have a project where, in a single call form external system to RightNow, there are multiple SOAP calls, and each call takes time ranging from 300ms to 6000-7000ms. The total response time is quite high at times.

We were looking for any standard which can be used to define the benchmark for future projects.
