We are instituting the SOAP API on a custom form to create incidents/contacts. We can't figure out how to create a contact from an email address for someone who is NOT authenticated.
member comes to the custom form, they put in email address and their question, how do we get the SOAP API to lookup in RightNOw to see if the email address exists, then if it doesn't, create the contact id and the incident?
The question is:
Is there a Connect Web Services SOAP endpoint where I can retrieve a contact ID (if it exists) by passing in an email address? Just as the XML service has a "Find" method...
