Hello the RightNow forum, this is my first ever posting here! I'm an OPA person and certainly not an expert in RightNow.
I have recently seen the following request: an embedded OPA interview runs in the Customer Portal (which includes the capture of an email address) and when the OPA interview completes there's a requirement to, in RightNow, do a look-up to see if the email exists:
If the email exists against a contact then create an incident against the matched contact record.
If the email does not exist then create a contact and an incident.
This deviates from the out-of-the-box functionality available in OPA. And so I'm thinking that to fulfil it we need to save the record into a "temporary" incoming object, then convert it to either contact + incident or incident + reference to existing contact. Does that sound possible?
Many thanks
Jonathan
