Running Analytics Reports through exported XML definitions

Hello, I am creating an application to sync specific data (ETL) from our RightNow database/system to our main data warehouse.

For a variety of reasons I will be using a set of AnalyticsReports to pull the information instead of ROQL.  My question is, instead of using a RightNowSyncPortal.get() call to retrieve the AnalyticsReport object, can the object be de-serialized/loaded from an existing xml report definition document?

This would alleviate the need to keep AnalyticsReports being run via SOAP in the Reports Explorer.
