Timer in Process Designer

Hi,

I wanted to use something like a timer in php (CPM Process designer).

The requirement is that after 6 hrs of the incident being solved, i want to check something in the CPM and then fire the survey from CPM.

I thought of using escalation for the 6 hrs gap, but then an incident cannot be escalated if the incident status is solved.  An alternative can be that i change the status of the incident to an unresolved type, but in that case the actual Date Closed of the incident is cleared.Thus this approach cant be used.

Now is there a way I can put a timer in the CPM and trigger a section of code after 6 hrs??? (because the escalation approach cant be used)
