A fundamental question.. Do Custom Process Models trigger on the update, creation or deletion of standard and custom objects when those amendments have come from the SOAP API, from RNCPHP in a custom-script, from RNCPHP in CP pages ? - i.e. anywhere where the trigger is a change in the underlying data (like a database trigger) rather from an action in the GUI ?
I ask since I can only get my test CPM's to trigger (and modify standard fields like 'Name->First' to avoid any issue with availability of custom fields as noted elsewhere) on Update or Create of a Contact when it is being Saved in the RN console, and:
1. doesn't work when updated via SOAP API
2. doesn't work when updated via RNCPHP from a custom script in a report.
Have others managed to get any object (standard or custom) to trigger a CPM on creation or update ?
