Hi All,
I'm brand new to RightNow and need to figure out how to query the database. I was used to our old ticketing system where I could just ODBC, but I see now I have to learn SOAP. I've done research on this site and found this thread to be particularly useful (though I haven't tested it yet).
Ultimately what I want to do is define my reports in RN Console, then be able to query that report from Excel VBA (which I'm very familiar with) so I can get get the raw data (in rows) for further manipulation and report customization. The thread I referenced above is doing something very similar but is sending a ROQL statement, whereas I want to send a reportID. How can I do this?
