Changing Task's Due Date with custom Add-In

Hello All,

We are trying to develop an add-in to change tasks due date without sucess, the ITASK due date field is not updated correctly at the task workspace when add-in code ran. The add-in code looks running smoothly, but in the task workspace shows value of "1/1/1970 12:00 AM".

Can you help us how to achieve this modification. Please see attached the add-in source code.
