SOAP XML : chaining between Custom Object (Parent) and Standard Contact Object (Child)

I am trying to chain Custom Parent Object and Standard Contact object using soap XML call. Until now I have been able to create both objects separately but looking for help in joining these using the chaining concept. I am providing sample xml below which is just creating a object named ExtendedContact (Parent Custom Object) and Contact Object, now what I need help in is to chain these two in same xml call :
