SOAP API not updating Schedule Price in Sales Product

Hi there,

I am trying to update the Price for a particular Sales Product.  I get back and error saying the Price is required, however I am including the Price.  

It looks like a low level error which bubbles up from a SaleProduct update:

Cannot save/update: SalesProduct(ID=356): Internal Error - Pair Error Pair Chain: sched=>sch_item(1)=>price Description: mode=UPDATE, pair 'price' is required While performing update on SalesProduct

Has anyone had success updating the Sales Product Price with SOAP?  Any advice is appreciated, and code examples are also appreciated.
